The Ferrari Concept!

Every Indian man dreams of owning a Ferrari... and wants to be an F1 winner. But fact remains that there is only ONE Ferrari-Schumacher combo. And Ferraris, even if you don't drive them DEMAND MAINTENANCE!As for F1, you can't host it on Mumbai's roads, can you?

Men need to be reminded of the grounds they stand on!

Vi-nderland Tales -1

The tortoise smiled at Vividha. 'Yes, child, you can sit on my back'.
'Won't you find me heavy?' asked V.
'Not at all! While you are up there you could scratch that itchy spot on my neck'.

His back was as bare as a gravestone in the graveyard. V climbed onto his back successfully after a couple of slippery attempts. Feeling like the supreme princess of land and water, she adjusted her bubblegum pink head-band- it was her tiara at that moment. It had to be perfectly perched on her head.

Then she remembered his request. She stretched out her little finger and gently tickled his neck with her nail. "Ah-ha" said the tortoise, contentedly! :)

(Posted on Sherline's FB- as a response to: "make a short story using the following words - bubble gum , nail, grave yard, supreme, tortoise, ah ha!")

Heros, and Miracles

Somebody and Me

Somebody and Me
Somebody... not me...
decided where I should be born

Somebody... not me...
decided where my baby should be born;

Somebody... not me...
was with me for the first, early excitement days of motherhood

Somebody... not me...
decided her name would be from B,V,U...

Somebody... not me...
did not let her be Samskaara

Somebody... not me...
planned how to celebrate her birth

Somebody... is free somewhere, and enjoying life

Me, not Somebody, is trapped in LOVE; and wondering if it is worth the tears.
Me, not Somebody, wonders how it would feel to be free again.

the XX chromosome in India...

Guess what little girl, even in the 21st century, things aren't going to be easy if you are a girl in India.

There will be impossible expectations of you... as there have been of your mother. Paradoxical expectations... burdens...
